GARRET COUNTY CASE MANAGER REGIONAL ADULT TREATMENT COURT GARRETT COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT SUMMARY
The Circuit Courts for Allegany and Garrett Counties are seeking a full-time Case Manager to serve the Garrett County Adult Treatment Court as part of the Regional Adult Treatment Court Program. This grant-funded position is based at the Circuit Court for Garrett County in Oakland, Maryland, and is dedicated exclusively to serving participants in Garrett County. The Case Manager plays a key role in supporting participants on their path to recovery by coordinating treatment and support services, monitoring participant progress, maintaining regular contact with participants, and connecting individuals with community resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, public health, behavioral sciences, or a closely related field. Two years of experience in case management, addictions, behavioral health, criminal justice, corrections, public health, or human services. Four years of directly related experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Experience with substance use treatment, recovery services, or specialty courts is preferred but not required. (A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Primary worksite is the Circuit Court for Garrett County, 203 South Fourth Street, Oakland, Maryland. Possession of a valid driver's license with the ability to travel occasionally for regional meetings, trainings, or other Maryland Judiciary business. Must be available to work occasional evening hours to accommodate Adult Treatment Court sessions or program activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of case management principles, community resources, and recovery-oriented practices. Understanding of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and evidence-based treatment approaches. Ability to establish effective working relationships with court personnel, community agencies, treatment providers, and program participants and coordinate services among multiple agencies while maintaining participant confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, encourage, and support individuals working toward recovery. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management databases. SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time, grant-funded contractual position with a salary range of $45,102 to $85,694 and a complete County benefits package, including health and life insurance, paid leave, and pension.
