Duties Monitor and supervise clients on probation through regular field visits, office meetings, and electronic tracking systems Conduct thorough interviews with clients to assess needs, risks, and progress toward rehabilitation goals Develop individualized case plans based on criminal law knowledge, social services, and client circumstances Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavioral change and compliance with court mandates Prepare detailed reports documenting client progress, violations, and interventions for court review Manage case records efficiently using Microsoft Office tools and case management software Respond promptly to crises or emergencies involving clients, utilizing crisis management skills and law enforcement collaboration when necessary Skills Strong knowledge of criminal law, procedural law, and courtroom procedures relevant to community supervision Experience in juvenile justice system procedures and working with youth populations Proficiency in interviewing clients, report writing, and case management within community supervision settings Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse populations Familiarity with social work practices, social services resources, and legal terminology used in criminal justice contexts Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely for field visits and client meetings Crisis management expertise combined with law enforcement experience, including firearms handling when applicable Competence in using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and report preparation Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to fostering positive change within our community.
