Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of individuals on probation to determine their needs, risks, and strengths. Develop personalized supervision plans that include goals for rehabilitation, employment, education, and community engagement. Monitor compliance with court-mandated conditions through regular meetings, home visits, and drug testing when necessary. Provide guidance and resources related to mental health support, substance abuse treatment, and social services. Document case progress accurately and maintain detailed records of interactions, violations, and interventions. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, social service providers, and community organizations to coordinate support efforts. Respond promptly to violations or emergencies by initiating appropriate actions or reporting to authorities. Skills Strong understanding of criminal justice procedures and probation regulations. Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse populations including underserved communities. Ability to assess risk factors related to neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities support needs. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques such as First Aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies. Experience working with individuals from underserved communities or those with neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable.
