Available Benefits Help for . The Frio County Juvenile Probation Department is hiring for the position of Chief Juvenile Probation Officer.
The Chief is responsible for the direct daily operation of the department and any additional programs that are run by the department.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, or related field (Sociology; Psychology or a Behavioral Science)
- Minimum of twenty (20) years experience in criminal justice, social services or working with children
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Probation Administrator/Supervisor or have a Masters degree
- Current Juvenile Probation Officer Certification
- Knowledge of management principles and practices
- Experience in the management of budgets
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with crisis situations
