Description:
The Manager is responsible for assessing processes and practices for regulatory reporting and conformance to quality standards especially in the area of patient safety. Assists the Director of Quality, Patient Safety, & Regulatory Affairs in the development, measurement, and evaluation of clinical systems and processes which improve patient safety, efficiency, quality of care, and health outcomes. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Cerner and decision support systems to ensure validity of data and auditing techniques. Works closely with department leaders and key program managers to lead causal analyses. Collaborates with quality, process management, clinical analytics, and IT leaders to implement improvements. Estimated salary range for this position is $112081.46 - $149068.34 / year depending on experience.
Note:
This position will be supporting Bethesda and Boca Hospitals in the North Region.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
Bachelors.
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered Nurse. CPS Certified Process Safety Professional.
Additional Qualifications:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration , Business, or Nursing preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience with local, state, and national regulatory compliance. RN Licensed in Florida or eligible for licensure. Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) required within 1 year of hire/transfer. Experience with The Joint Commission and/or DNV standards. CPHQ preferred.
Lean / Six
Sigma certification preferred. Experience with Cerner applications and solutions preferred. Supervisory or management experience preferred.
Minimum Required Experience:
5 Years
