Job Title:
Safety Manager (Commercial & Federal Projects)
Location:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Safety Manager with a strong track record supporting large-scale commercial and federal (DoD/government) construction projects. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining compliance, driving safety initiatives, and fostering a proactive safety culture across project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage site-specific safety programs Ensure full compliance with
OSHA, EM
385-1-1, and all federal safety standards Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments Lead safety meetings, trainings, and orientations Investigate incidents and implement corrective/preventative actions Maintain detailed safety records and reporting Partner with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to uphold safety expectations
Qualifications:
10+ years of construction safety experience, with a focus on large commercial projects Proven experience supporting federal/DoD/government projects Demonstrated career stability with progressive experience in safety roles Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and
EM 385-1-1
standards OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, or similar certifications preferred Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on high-value or multi-site projects First Aid/CPR certification Degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field
