GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
To assist the Company's Drivers in adhering to and implementing company policies and procedures and DOT regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that each driver is following company tarping and securement procedures by conducting periodic load inspections and addressing, recording and reporting all infractions to the Director of Safety. Provides assistance to drivers by helping with securement and tarping problems, interpreting company policies, DOT and procedures as needed. Identify and anticipate Safety and Health concerns and Hazards by observing and surveying operational and occupational conditions; rendering opinions on new equipment and procedures; investigating violations and recommending preventive programs. Prepares Safety reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Complies with Federal, State, and Company Safety Regulations by interpreting standards; enforcing adherence to regulations; and advising management on needed actions. Assists in the investigation of accidents, by taking pictures, viewing the scene and other duties as needed. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training. Ensure company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be 21 years of age and have a high school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition to those requirements must have a Valid CDL and 2 years verifiable CDL driving combination Class A, local or
OTR. WORKING CONDITIONS
Shop environment where continuously exposed to several elements such as, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting. Also, may have exposure at times to the outside weather elements.
