Position Summary

This position will monitor company safety activities on PROENERGY's jobsites and will directly contribute to the success of the company by keeping a safe working environment.

Reports To:

Director Health & Safety

Position Responsibilities

Monitor consistent implementation of safety regulations, policies and procedures. Advise managers of necessary corrective actions required to address deficiencies

Manage jobsite preparation and monitor environmental conditions.

Coordinate with OSHA inspectors.

Enforce safety related procedures.

Aid management and workers on compliance with OSHA, DOT, local laws, company policies/procedures, and general safety guidelines. Manage SDS sheets, LOTO, hot work, confined space, critical lift and any other permit required activity.

Lead safety training for jobsite personnel.

Managerial Teamwork

Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with Supervisor and jobsite by providing timely, accurate, and complete information and by answering questions and requests.

Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with Department to include providing timely, accurate and complete information.

Coordinate with appropriate PES departments for timely delivery of material and manpower resources.

Provide timely, accurate, and complete information as requested to the company leadership.

Provide assistance and oversite for other PES sites that have temporary site safety personnel.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in safety or related field or High school Diploma or equivalent plus 10+ years of practical EH&S experience. US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
