SM TECH LLC

is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager for a large-scale industrial construction project at the LG Energy Solution site in Queen Creek, Arizona . The Safety Manager will be responsible for monitoring daily construction activities, identifying and correcting unsafe conditions, enforcing site safety requirements, and working closely with supervisors, contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain a safe working environment. Candidates must have a valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety card and previous safety experience on an active construction site. Responsibilities Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and safety walkthroughs Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and potential hazards Enforce OSHA regulations and project-specific safety policies Conduct or participate in daily safety meetings, TBM/JSA/JHA, and toolbox talks Monitor proper use of PPE and fall protection Monitor forklift, aerial lift, heavy equipment, and material-handling activities Verify safe work practices for construction crews and subcontractors Stop unsafe work when an immediate hazard is identified Document safety observations, violations, corrective actions, and near-miss incidents Assist with accident and incident investigations Maintain daily safety reports and required documentation Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other safety personnel Promote a professional and proactive safety culture throughout the project Ensure workers understand and comply with site safety requirements Minimum Qualifications OSHA 30-Hour Construction - REQUIRED Experience working on industrial, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or large-scale construction projects preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards Knowledge of fall protection, PPE, ladders, scaffolding, forklifts, aerial lifts, and heavy-equipment safety Ability to recognize hazards and take immediate corrective action Ability to communicate professionally with workers, supervisors, and management Strong documentation and reporting skills Basic computer skills Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass project-required background check and/or drug screening
