Job Summary We are seeking a QC / Safety Manager for construction work on a multi-year project in Tucson, AZ. This position is responsible for managing and administering the Quality Control and Safety Program, ensuring work is completed in compliance with customer specifications, project requirements, safety standards, and quality guidelines. This is a strong opportunity for someone with construction quality control, safety management, government/federal project experience, and experience supporting multi-million-dollar construction programs.

$80,000 - $120,000/year DOE Responsibilities Manage and administer the project Quality Control and Safety Program. Enforce company and project goals related to quality and safety. Maintain quality control objectives to meet customer specifications and guidelines. Plan, promote, and lead on-site meetings related to quality and safety. Prepare QC reports and conduct field inspections of work in progress. Conduct or coordinate material testing and prepare related reports. Manage QC inspectors and coordinate with government inspectors. Coordinate field work with project managers. Review subcontractor materials, approved submittals, and shop drawings. Check construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and project requirements. Ensure redline/as-built drawings are kept up to date in the field. Maintain and administer the Safety Program and promote safe field practices. Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred. 5+ years of Quality Control and/or Safety experience required. Experience working on multi-million-dollar construction projects. Construction QC and safety management experience required. Experience overseeing quality and safety on active construction projects. Experience with JOC or SABER projects is a plus. Corps of Engineers Quality Management for Contractors certificate is a plus. OSHA training and safety certifications required. Joint Commission certificate is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to positively influence employees and subcontractors to support QC and safety programs. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and email. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Knowledge of quality control policies, procedures, regulations, and supervisory practices. U.S. Citizenship required.
