Job Description

Join GXO Logistics as a Quality & Safety Manager in our Transportation & Warehousing operations. You will lead site quality and safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT and customer standards while driving a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing SOPs, conducting audits and incident investigations, analyzing KPIs, leading root-cause and corrective actions, delivering safety and quality training, and partnering with operations and engineering to optimize processes using data, automation and technology. You'll mentor teams, support customer reviews and help implement innovative solutions that enhance performance and reliability. Responsibilities Lead and manage quality and safety programs across warehouse and transportation operations Develop, implement and maintain SOPs and safety policies aligned with OSHA, DOT and customer requirements Conduct regular site audits, inspections and risk assessments; track and report KPIs Investigate incidents, near-misses and nonconformances; lead root-cause and corrective action plans Deliver safety, compliance and quality training for frontline staff and supervisors Analyze operational and quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with operations, engineering and HR to embed safety and quality into daily processes Support customer audits, reviews and reporting requirements for quality and safety performance Ensure regulatory compliance documentation and records are accurate and up to date Champion a performance-driven, safety-focused culture that uses technology and automation effectively Required Skills Occupational safety and health regulations (OSHA) DOT and warehouse safety compliance Quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) Root cause analysis and corrective action (RCA, 5 Whys, fishbone) Data analysis and KPI reporting (Excel, BI tools) Incident investigation and risk assessment Development of SOPs and safety policies Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) Training design and delivery for frontline teams Audit planning and execution
