Safety Supervisor / Safety Manager (Mold Abatement & Restoration)
Location:
Crescent City, CA Duration:
3-6
Week Project Assignment Pay:
Up to $35/hour DOE + Per Diem +
Housing Provided Schedule:
Full-Time with Significant Overtime Available We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor/Safety Manager to support a mold abatement and restoration project in Crescent City, California. This is a hands-on field role requiring strong safety leadership, extensive mold remediation experience, and the ability to work effectively with project teams. The project is located in a remote area along Northern California's coast, surrounded by state and national forests. Housing is provided, and transportation assistance is available. Responsibilities Maintain a strong field presence and promote a positive safety culture Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and daily safety meetings Monitor mold remediation and containment activities Ensure proper PPE, respiratory protection, and safe work practices Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and investigate incidents when needed Document observations, corrective actions, and compliance activities Partner with operations and project leadership to support safe and productive work Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and field personnel Qualifications OSHA 30 or Cal/OSHA certification required Experience as a Safety Manager, Safety Supervisor, EHS Manager, or similar role Extensive experience supporting mold abatement, remediation, or restoration projects Strong knowledge of hazard identification, PPE, respiratory protection, and exposure controls Experience leading toolbox talks, inspections, and incident investigations Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills Professional, calm demeanor with the ability to manage challenging client interactions What We Offer Competitive pay up to $35/hour based on experience Per diem and company-provided housing Significant overtime opportunities Short-term project with immediate impact Transportation support, including rental vehicle or mileage reimbursement Candidates with substantial mold remediation safety experience and a collaborative approach to safety leadership are encouraged to apply.
