Vista Universal, Inc. a statewide lighting and electrical services contractor in business since 1972 is looking to hire a reliable and detail‑oriented Fleet, Resource and Safety Supervisor to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, communicates well, and can manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and accuracy. Position Summary The Fleet, Resource & Safety Supervisor oversees company vehicles, safety programs, employee certifications, warehouse, and several operational support functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Responsibilities Fleet Management Schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repairs Coordinate new vehicle setup, registration, decals, and equipment Manage vehicle sales, transfers, and decommissioning Maintain key systems, gas cards, mileage logs, and annual inspections Ensure all fleet documentation is accurate and up to date Safety & Compliance Serve as the company's Safety Administrator Conduct safety meetings and maintain required labor law postings Manage first aid kits, PPE distribution, and safety equipment inventory Issue safety violations and follow up on corrective actions Schedule employee safety training and maintain certification records Update safety manuals and ensure compliance with regulations Oversee hazardous waste disposal procedures Employee Support & Office Operations Conduct new employee orientations Manage employee certification programs Purchase office supplies, tools, and operational materials Perform computer data entry and maintain digital records Assist with shipping, receiving, and forklift operations (as needed) Technology & Communications Manage company cell phone communication system Coordinate periodic updates to the company website Oversee the company Facebook account and basic social media updates Recycling & Warehouse Support Transport cardboard, ballasts, metals, and other materials to recycling facilities Support general warehouse and facility operations as needed Qualifications Forklift certification preferred Computer literate; Microsoft Operating System Data entry Knowledge of vehicle maintenance Good driving record Skills & Attributes Strong organizational and time‑management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Clear communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused
