Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Farm Food Safety Compliance Supervisor responsible for ensuring farm food safety programs comply with LGMA, GFSI/Primus
GFS, FSMA
Produce Safety Rule, and customer requirements by overseeing daily operations, leading field food safety teams, and maintaining continuous audit readiness across all California growing regions. Additional Info What You Will Need:
Minimum 3 years of food safety, agricultural compliance, or auditing experience. Must have working knowledge of GAPs, GMA, PrimusGFS, and FSMA Produce Safety Rule. Strong Analytical, documentation, risk assessment skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective trainer and mentor. Competency with data analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite, email, spreadsheets, and ability to learn other internal software. Ability to form productive working relationships with members of the farming team, upper management, and crop protection company representatives. Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the corporate Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time with periodic need to stay overnight. Biweekly or more frequent travel is required across multiple California growing regions including Coachella, based on operational needs. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Must be able to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
What Will Set You Apart:
BA Degree in Food Science, Biology, Agronomy, or related field.
Benefits Total Rewards:
$70,304 - $75,000 / Yearly Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
