Our team consists of licensed Professional Engineers (PE), certified Project Management Professionals (PMP), certified professional with Design Build Institute of America (DBIA), licensed General Building Contractor and other industry designations. We can provide entitlement, development, design, procurement, construction management, project management, expert witness and litigation support services on a variety of building types. Our experienced team have provided these services to successfully deliver various facilities for public school districts, college districts, universities, commercial developers, hospitality owners, multinational CM/PM consultants and other valued clients. Job Summary Are you looking to apply your skills and utilize your experience to make a difference in our community? Are you motivated to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to deliver new projects for our clients? Triangle is waiting for you to join our team! This is a full-time position with Los Angeles Community College District. The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial construction safety experience overseeing multiple active projects, with expertise in OSHA compliance, OCIP programs, incident reporting, hazard analysis, and contractor safety oversight. They should possess strong leadership and communication skills, experience on educational and public works projects, and all required safety certifications. Responsibilities This position will be assigned as a District-Wide position. Perform management oversight of construction activity on behalf of the client, report on contractor regulatory and contract safety compliance on multiple projects sites. Monitor compliance to all current OSHA requirements that relate to the specific construction projects. Perform daily safety reviews of work in progress in accordance with current Safety Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as developed and updated by BuildLACCD. Monitor adherence to Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) requirements and procedures Support to the Program Safety Manager, including but not limited to, attending any required meetings, or providing safety reports/analysis as requested. Attend construction meeting with college project team and general contractor. Leading the safety topic (toolbox), report on site observations (Observation Report) and review upcoming construction schedule for hazard preparedness. Perform ongoing construction site safety inspections and generate daily safety report for all site visits. Submit weekly Project Health Safety and Environmental Observation Report to College Project Manager. Perform ongoing review, for completion and accuracy, of contractor safety submittals, JHA, MOP, Fall Protection Plans, Crane Lift Plans, Excavation and Scaffold Erecting Plans, Confined Space Entry and hazard assessment of other high risk operations. Perform review of contractor submitted incident reports, participate in safety stand-downs, and prepare and submit lessons learned to Program Safety Manager. Perform and document safety orientation with contractor safety representative. Monitor adherence to zero tolerance and corrective action policy for workers found not in compliance with the Program's safety policy. Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Ability to work in fast-paced environment, establish daily work priorities, and perform oversight at multiple active construction projects. Good written and oral communication skills
