Job Description The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Program manager is responsible for the planning, administration and management of safety, health and fire safety programs throughout the hospital to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and standards concerning environmental health and safety, as well as applicable standards set forth by The Joint Commission (TJC). Ensure compliance with all standards promulgated by all Federal, State and local agencies through developing and implementing environmental management programs, on-site inspection and monitoring programs throughout the organization. Manages interactions with outside agencies and regulatory agency personnel for assigned area. Day to
Day Tasks:
Conduct construction safety inspections; review PCRAs, ICRAs, ILSMs, and Construction Safety Plans; participate in project coordination meetings; review high-risk work activities; monitor contractor safety performance; investigate incidents; track corrective actions; provide construction safety guidance; maintain documentation. Pay Range for this role is $66.98

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years EH&S experience; minimum 5 years construction safety management.
  • OSHA regulations, healthcare construction safety, PCRA, ICRA, ILSM, contractor management, incident investigation, risk assessment and project coordination.
  • Healthcare construction experience.
  • BBP•OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Certification preferred•CEAS•Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist preferred .
  • RCRA Hazardous Waste Training preferred .
  • OSHA Hazwoper preferred .
  • OSHA30
  • 30-hour Construction Training preferred .
