Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to become their next EHS&S Manager for their manufacturing facility in Northern California.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives.
Safety Culture Champion:
Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement.
Regulatory Compliance Expert:
Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Hazard Assessment Pro:
Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.
Training Guru:
Conduct OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.
Injury Management Leader:
Support Workers' Compensation claims management, investigating incidents and recommending preventive measures.
What You Bring:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
Experience:
5 years in Industrial Safety Leadership with experience in food manufacturing preferred.
Certifications:
Strong OSHA and Cal-OSHA experience, ASP or CSP (certifications a plus).
Bonus Points:
Environmental compliance expertise (EPA, HAZMAT) and proficiency in EHS Management software. Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
