$80,971-$99,680 annually Lead Food Safety & Quality Excellence We're seeking an experienced Food Safety Manager to join a growing food manufacturing company in Colorado Springs, CO. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing food safety programs, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume production facility. If you have a strong background in USDA-regulated food manufacturing, SQF programs, and enjoy leading teams while driving operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance Lead and maintain food safety and quality programs throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF, GMP, and customer requirements. Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and certification activities. Promote food safety best practices across all departments. Quality Systems Management Manage and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS). Monitor quality metrics and implement corrective actions when needed. Oversee CAPA programs, traceability, validations, and complaint investigations. Ensure documentation remains accurate and audit-ready. Leadership & Team Development Coach, mentor, and develop Quality team members. Train employees on food safety procedures and quality standards. Foster a culture focused on accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Operations teams. Support process improvements that strengthen product quality and food safety. Communicate quality trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality , or a related field. 2+ years of experience in USDA-regulated food manufacturing required. 2+ years of hands-on experience managing SQF programs required. Experience leading quality systems within a food manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, USDA, FDA, and quality standards . Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Why Join Us?
