POSITION SUMMARY

Yeti Ark Electric is seeking a Fire Alarm & Life Safety Manager to lead our Fire & Life Safety division. This is a true working-manager role — you'll run the day-to-day of the division (team leadership, estimating, Invoicing, code compliance, customer relationships) while staying hands-on with technical decisions. Ideal for someone who wants ownership of a full division, not just a book of jobs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Division & Team Leadership Lead, schedule, and develop the Fire & Life Safety team (technicians, inspectors, and estimating, and invoicing). Own division performance — job margins, on-time completion, and customer satisfaction. Establish and enforce engineering/inspection standards and best practices. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management within the division. Fire Alarm Estimating & Engineering Prepare and review fire alarm system estimates for new construction, retrofit, and inspection/service contracts. Interpret project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes (NFPA 72, IBC) to ensure compliant, competitive proposals. Review team deliverables for accuracy and code compliance. Project & Customer Management Serve as the primary point of contact for fire alarm customers, AHJs, and fire marshals. Partner with Operations, PMs, and field teams throughout project execution. Handle escalations, change orders, and complex technical/design issues. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and quality across the division.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications Proven experience leading or supervising a fire alarm/life safety team or division. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and applicable codes, including NFPA 72 and IBC. Experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Strong organizational, project management, and cross-department communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/design software. Preferred Qualifications NICET Certification — Level II or Level III preferred. Experience with AutoCAD or fire alarm design software. Experience with major fire alarm platforms (Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Honeywell, or similar). Experience supporting multi-Family, commercial, or industrial projects. ON-CALL This position participates in a weekly on-call rotation for emergency fire alarm & Life Safety response.

Salary:

$95,000-100.,000 per year

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
