HEALTH, SAFETY & QUALITY MANAGER TLC
Pipeline Construction, Inc. is looking for a Safety Manager. Must have at least 5 years of experience in construction safety.
COMPANY TLC
Pipeline Construction, Inc. is a family owned and operated pipeline general contractor. We operate throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and Southeast New Mexico. TLC manages every aspect of the fabrication and installation of pipeline infrastructure and related mechanical, civil, and equipment facilities. TLC Pipeline Construction, Inc. also pursues utility, municipal water, natural gas, refined products, and renewable projects.
JOB SUMMARY TLC
Pipeline is seeking an experienced and passionate Safety Manager to lead and manage our company safety program. With a goal of zero incidents, this position is key to proving a safe work environment to our employees. Position will immediately be a part of TLC Pipeline's management team. Position reports directly to upper management and company ownership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, and enforce safety programs to ensure compliance with Company procedures and regulatory requirements. Establish policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations to prevent injuries and provide a safe working environment for the employees, contractors, and clients Conduct hazard/risk assessments, develop JHA's and JSA's Facilitate safety training programs and initiatives Develop and maintain multiple site-specific safety plans (SSPs) Participate in jobsite safety inspections and audits Update, rollout and implement new safety manual and company trainings. Develop and establish company safety goals and benchmarks Develop new safety trainings Manage company drug testing program (DOT & Non-DOT) and assist with new hire orientation and paperwork. Analyze data and safety trends, reporting back to company leadership Coordinates and lead monthly safety meeting, lead weekly management/supervisor safety meeting including developing tailgate topics Standardize incident investigation, perform root cause analysis Ensure all personnel have access to necessary safety equipment and monitor the implementation and use of safety equipment and procedures Maintain awareness of current industry safety processes and regulations Establish, track, and review quarterly safety goals Oversee and manage Operator Qualification (OQ) program through Veriforce, Energy Worldnet and other client platforms Ensure safety procedures are in bilingual format Manage Good Catch program Maintain routine contact with clients' Safety Managers and representatives, act in the capacity of a Public Relations Safety representative
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Strong background in construction safety Strong leadership skills Ability to work in the office and in the field Ability to influence individual awareness and actions regarding safety policies and procedures at all levels Ability to communicate safety objectives and direct internal activities related to the safety program Ability to work under minimal supervision, skilled in planning and formulating procedures and executing and monitoring programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to present safety-related information to groups of employees and clients. Capable of resolving and/or addressing issues in a timely manner Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully to gain desired results Strong background in construction environment Current knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations Established facilitator and able to motivate others to follow the safety procedures. Analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to promote safety program, improvement and review company accident reports and implement follow-up action plans OSHA knowledge relating to company's industry is required Must live within 1 hour of company headquarters
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
5+ years Safety related work experience required in the oil and gas industry, preferably in a management capacity Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have the ability to quickly learn company software programs and apps. Ability to facilitate client specific programs (IsNet, Veriforce, etc.) Experience in facilitating a wide range of Safety Programs and Safety Training Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred Knowledge of DOT OQ tasks. DOT OQ Evaluator certification is preferred Industry specific trainings preferred Bachelor's degree in EH&S or comparable industry education encouraged
COMPENSATION RANGE
Final agreed upon compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, and other qualifications

$75,842.38 - $115,111.26 per year
