Job Description
Amdrill, Inc., a specialized geotechnical and environmental drilling company for over 45 years. We're hiring a Field Safety Supervisor based out of our corporate office in Brooksville, FL. We are looking for a Field Safety Supervisor who is a true team player in a hands-on field role focused on coaching and supporting crews, not just enforcement. You will spend significant time visiting job sites, observing operations around heavy equipment and drilling activities, coaching safe work practices and behaviors, building trust, leading by example, and helping our teams continuously improve while strengthening a strong safety culture. Responsibilities Regularly visit job sites to observe operations and ensure crews work safely Travel to project sites all over the state, and some out of state, using company vehicles Coach crews on safety topics, procedures, identify and correct hazards, and positive safety behaviors Promote and enforce vehicle safety and safe driving practices Lead engaging safety meetings and toolbox talks Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and incident reports Requirements Construction experience required; geotechnical or soil-sampling drilling experience strongly preferred Experience working around heavy equipment OSHA 30 certification required
