What You'll Do As our Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for promoting, implementing, and continuously improving our safety program across active heavy civil construction projects. Responsibilities Conduct routine field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and compliance reviews on roadway, bridge, utility, and heavy civil construction projects. Identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with OSHA, FDOT, and company safety standards. Coach, mentor, and train employees to perform work safely, efficiently, and confidently. Required Qualifications Experience as a Construction Safety Manager, Safety Coordinator, or similar field-based safety role. Experience as a safety professional in heavy civil, roadway, bridge, or utility construction. Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards. Experience conducting incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence employees at every level of the organization. Lead weekly project safety meetings and participate in project planning activities. Investigate accidents and near misses, while completing detailed Root Cause Analyses and corrective action plans. Assist with Workers' Compensation reporting and documentation. Monitor subcontractor safety performance and promote accountability across all project teams. Stay current on OSHA regulations, FDOT requirements, industry best practices, and emerging safety initiatives. Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to continuously improve our safety culture. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety Director. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active jobsites. Ability to work independently while building strong relationships with field personnel. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between project locations. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification

Advanced Certification First Aid/CPR Certification SWPPP Inspector Certification CHST, STSC, CSP, ASP, or other recognized safety credentials Experience with SiteDocs or other digital safety management platforms Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat (PDF)

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
