What you will be doing:
The Field Safety Manager Provides technical expertise, training, and incident investigation review, coordination of post-incident treatment and screening, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation and site safety assessments/inspection/audits for assigned departments.
Responsibilities:
Assist field supervisors in the development of plans, systems and training that develop local, competent, and caring safety personnel and resources Conduct site visits/inspections of field locations, work areas and equipment; observing employee work practices and improving safety preparedness to ensure employees are equipped with the training, tools, and equipment necessary to work safely Coordinate field employee medical treatment for injury response utilizing company medical treatment protocol Identify corrective actions necessary to bring job sites into compliance with applicable codes, laws, regulations, and standards, and explain these measures to others Assist supervisors with the timely completion of required Accident Reports. Review incident investigations to ensure causes and corrective actions have been addressed Take lead role in creation of Root Cause Maps in response to workplace incidents Conduct safety training and support for field locations, as required. Conduct OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 classes, as required
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of safety experience in the construction, facilities, and/or industrial services industry OSHA 500 and/or 501 Certification in 1926 Construction Industry and/or 1910 General Industry Bilingual (English/Spanish) Interested in joining the team?
