This role is vital in maintaining a safe working environment by implementing safety standards, conducting inspections, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all team members. The Safety Manager will play a key role in managing safety procedures on a day-to-day basis to prevent accidents and promote best practices throughout the construction process. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies tailored to data center construction projects. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols. Coordinate safety training sessions for construction personnel, emphasizing hazard recognition and safe work practices. Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety throughout all phases of construction. Keep detailed records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective measures taken. Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and industry best practices related to data center construction. Provide guidance on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce its mandatory use on-site. Ensure that all safety signage, barriers, and warnings are properly displayed and maintained. Skills Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role within construction, preferably in data center or large-scale infrastructure projects. Degree in a safety field is preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, local safety laws, and industry standards related to construction safety. Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during site inspections. Effective communication skills for training personnel and coordinating with various stakeholders. Ability to analyze risks and develop proactive solutions to mitigate hazards. Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate safety documentation and reports. Leadership qualities with the ability to influence a safety-conscious culture among diverse teams. Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, CHST, CSP, OSHA 510 are desired.

Pay:
