Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Site Safety Professional in the Pensacola, Florida area where your expertise will be pivotal in fostering a safe, compliant, and productive construction environment. In this role, you will lead safety initiatives across construction sites, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and standards. Your proactive approach will help mitigate risks, promote occupational health, and uphold the highest safety standards on every project. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on construction safety management while working alongside dedicated professionals committed to excellence. There is no per-diem or motel this is for a local person in Pensacola, Fla, only Responsibilities Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards related to safety procedures, occupational health risks, and construction workplace safety regulations. Monitor adherence to OSHA standards and OSHA recordkeeping requirements; maintain detailed documentation of safety incidents, inspections, and corrective actions. Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) policies into daily operations; promote a culture of safety awareness. Lead investigations of safety incidents or near-misses; recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure workers' compensation procedures are followed accurately. Requirements Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of construction experience and construction management software tools, with 2 year min. experience In-depth knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA standards,, OSHA requirements, and occupational health best practices. Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health assessments, and compliance management within the construction industry. Ability to lead team training initiatives effectively; excellent communication skills for engaging diverse teams on safety protocols.
