Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Safety Manager to join our construction team. This position is responsible for promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture across active construction projects while ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable safety standards. Travel is an absolute requirement for this position. The Safety Manager will be expected to travel frequently and consistently to multiple construction project locations . This is a field-based position and is not suitable for someone seeking a primarily office-based or local role . Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage safety programs across multiple construction projects. Conduct frequent site visits, safety inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventative measures. Work directly with project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and field employees to maintain safe work practices. Lead and conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, orientations, and training programs. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents and develop corrective action plans. Maintain accurate safety documentation, inspection reports, training records, and incident reports. Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure compliance with project safety requirements. Assist with the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans. Promote accountability and a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Stay current with OSHA requirements, industry standards, and construction safety best practices. Provide regular safety reports and updates to company leadership. Travel Requirement

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED AND IS AN ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION.

The Safety Manager must be willing and able to travel extensively and routinely to construction project locations . Travel may involve overnight stays, extended periods away from home, and visits to multiple project sites during a workweek. Applicants who are not willing to travel frequently should not apply . Qualifications 3+ years of construction safety experience; 5+ years preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and safety requirements. Experience working directly on active construction sites. Ability to identify hazards and effectively communicate corrective actions. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating with project teams and company leadership. Proficiency with safety documentation, inspections, reporting, and incident investigations. Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively. Ability to work in a construction environment and access active job sites. Preferred Certifications OSHA 30-Hour Construction

OSHA 500

Pay:

$66,778.73 - $80,421.70 per year
