Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM

Up to 25% for audits, training, or company meetings
Work Environment:
Primarily on-site in a warehouse environment with regular time spent in production areas What You'll Do You'll serve as the campus's SQF Practitioner and food safety subject matter expert by: Leading the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF System, including food safety fundamentals and the food safety plan Coordinating internal food safety audits and driving collaborative corrective actions that enhance operational excellence Ensuring GMP and food safety compliance throughout the Augusta Campus Delivering engaging food safety training to team members Maintaining controlled documentation and food safety records Ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, 21 CFR 117 and applicable food safety standards Conducting facility inspections to verify sanitation and pest prevention standards Partnering with leaders to strengthen food safety culture across the organization Supporting GFSI and additional food safety initiatives as the business grow.
What You'll Receive Competitive Compensation:
Base annual salary range: $55,000

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in a GFSI food safety scheme (SQF strongly preferred) PCQI Certification (required) Working knowledge of HACCP, HARPC, and 21 CFR 117 Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail — you catch what others miss Confidence presenting audit results, corrective action findings, and training materials to diverse audiences Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with the broader team Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook A high standard for accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism Bonus Points If You Have Bilingual in English and Spanish (a meaningful plus in our facility environment) Experience with ISO standards and CFR corrective action frameworks Experience supporting multiple food safety certifications Physical Requirements To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the individual should be able to: Walk production warehouses and office areas throughout the workday. Frequently stand, bend, reach, stoop, and climb stairs as needed. Occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs Visually inspect products, equipment, and complete documentation with close attention to detail Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, auditors, and regulatory agencies Work in a logistics environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and food warehousing conditions Use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods of time Ready to Make an Impact?
