The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Health and Safety compliance at our manufacturing plant in Cordele. Principal Responsibilities

• Health and Safety facility inspections
• Health and Safety facility audits
• Health and Safety facility training
• Health and Safety policy, programs, and procedures implementation
• Perform accident and incident investigation as necessary
• Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees in regards to health and safety matters
• Accurate and timely Health and Safety reporting and recordkeeping
• Occasional travel to EHS training events
• May be responsible for additional plant operations
• Participates and contributes to company safety program

Qualifications:

Education:

(Required) High School Diploma or GED; (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in

Environmental or Safety Science Experience:

5 years + EHS consulting or facility EHS management in a manufacturing industry preferred

License/Certification:

NA Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency with computers (specifically Microsoft Office Products) Quality program implementation experience Problem solving skills Critical writing Public speaking Training Teamwork Valid US State driver's license Flexibility Ability to multitask
