This role works closely with Operations, HR, Maintenance, Transportation, and Corporate Safety teams to help reduce risk, strengthen safety culture, and maintain regulatory compliance throughout the facility. What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include: Support and lead warehouse safety and compliance initiatives Conduct facility inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Assist with OSHA compliance programs, including PPE, forklift safety, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, and emergency response Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions Maintain safety documentation, training records, and compliance logs Coordinate Workers' Compensation claim support, injury reporting, return-to-work tracking, and communication with clinics, HR, and insurance carriers Support ammonia refrigeration safety efforts, including inspections, documentation reviews, emergency preparedness, and corrective action follow-up Conduct and coordinate employee safety training and onboarding programs Promote a proactive, visible, and accountable safety culture throughout operations Partner with operational leadership to improve workplace safety performance and reduce risk Things you need to be able to do: 3+ years of warehouse safety, EHS, or industrial safety experience Knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety requirements and compliance standards Experience supporting Workers' Compensation claims and incident investigations Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills Ability to work in warehouses, refrigerated, freezer, and industrial environments Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational setting Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to build trust while maintaining accountability and safety expectations Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker: Experience working around industrial ammonia refrigeration systems Familiarity with PSM and/or IIAR standards Experience in food distribution, cold storage, or manufacturing operations OSHA 30 certification Bilingual (English/Spanish) What we think you'll love about
