EHS Manager Job DescriptionJob Description Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top We are currently seeking a EHS Manager for a client within the automotive manufacturing industry. Position Overview The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with applicable regulations and promote a safe and sustainable workplace. This role partners with leadership, employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies to drive continuous improvement in safety performance, environmental stewardship, and risk management. Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and management systems to support regulatory compliance and company standards. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations , including required permits, reporting, recordkeeping, and programs such as OSHA logs, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, and related compliance activities. Conduct risk assessments, facility audits, inspections, and incident investigations , and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk and improve workplace safety and environmental performance. Oversee EHS training, emergency response planning, safety committees, workers' compensation, and employee engagement initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture across the organization. Manage EHS budgets, performance metrics, KPIs, and departmental priorities while supporting leadership, mentoring supervisors, and maintaining alignment with HTGSS values, ISO standards, and internal policies. Qualifications Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations , including compliance reporting and permitting requirements. Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management . Expertise in environmental compliance programs , including waste, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous materials, and sustainability/ESG initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to train, mentor, and influence teams across all levels of the organization. Excellent analytical, project management, and continuous improvement skills , with a track record of organizing priorities, solving problems proactively, and driving measurable EHS results.
Compensation:
