Job Description
Safety Manager TanTara Transportation is looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to lead and oversee our Safety Lane, helping keep our drivers, equipment, and operations safe, compliant, and running smoothly. What you'll do : Manage the day-to-day operations of Safety Lane Conduct and oversee vehicle inspections and safety checks Monitor DOT compliance, driver safety, and required documentation Identify safety concerns and work with the team to resolve them Help develop and enforce company safety policies and procedures Train and coach drivers on safe practices Lead weekly orientation for new drivers Maintain accurate safety records and stay current on DOT regulations What we're looking for : A safety-minded leader with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience with DOT regulations, commercial vehicles, and transportation safety is preferred. Must have a valid CDL. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping people and equipment safe.
