Job Description
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager Red Oak, IA Salary starting at $75K, relocation package if needed Are you a hands-on EHS leader who enjoys building safety culture, driving compliance, and creating safer manufacturing environments? We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead safety and environmental programs across multiple manufacturing operations. This role will partner with leadership and production teams to reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization Conduct safety training, new hire orientation, and employee development programs Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations Maintain safety records, OSHA logs, and environmental reporting requirements Oversee EHS programs, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Hazard Communication, and Confined Space Entry Lead safety committees, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with operations teams to identify and implement workplace safety improvements Qualifications 7+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations Experience leading safety training and compliance programs Proven ability to investigate incidents and drive corrective actions Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred HAZWOPER, CSP, CIH, CHMM, or related certifications are a plus Why Apply?
