About the Role We are seeking an EHSS Supervisor to join our team at our Alsip bakery. As an EHS Supervisor, you will be accountable for leading environmental, health, and safety programs while driving training initiatives that ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and strengthen employee capability.
Shift & Schedule Shift:
Supports all 3 shifts
Compensation Salary Range:
$75,000
  • $80,000 Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing) Lead and implement environmental, health, safety, and training programs to improve workplace safety and capability Partner with supervisors and managers to drive safety awareness and ensure consistent program execution Design and deliver OSHA-compliant training aligned with regulatory and operational requirements Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed Manage emergency response programs, including First Aid, CPR, and AED training initiatives Analyze safety and training data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership Develop and enhance employee, trainer, and manager capabilities to ensure effective training delivery Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements Experience supporting training programs in a manufacturing or operational environment Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels Ability to maintain safety records, reports, and training documentation Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in safety, employee development, or related field 1-3 years of experience applying adult learning theory in training program design Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience designing and implementing learning and development programs Experience in the food manufacturing industry Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
