Job Description
As a Safety Manager at Irwin, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. The role focuses on preventing workplace injuries and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, programs, and training with cross functional teams Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions Lead\Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and root cause analyses Prepare safety training and toolbox talks for employees Encourage a behavior-based safety program (BBS) to promote safety among employees Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare management reports Advise management on safety risks and improvements Consistent visible presence in production areas with direct engagement with employees Lead emergency response planning and drills Maintain
