3005094030-2 Apply for this job now Job Description SSP is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems within our Food & Beverage Operations, supporting Smiths Detection's mission to enhance global safety. Based in the Quality Assurance & Testing department, you will own HACCP, GFSI, and regulatory-compliant programs, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement across production sites. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage supplier quality, analyze KPIs, and embed a strong food safety culture in an innovative, diverse, and collaborative environment. This role offers exposure to advanced detection technologies and their integration into food safety controls. Responsibilities Lead food safety and quality programs for Food & Beverage Operations in the Quality Assurance & Testing department. Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP, GFSI, and regulatory-compliant quality systems for SSP sites. Plan and conduct internal audits, manage third-party and customer audits, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Monitor product quality, investigate non-conformances, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with operations, R D, and procurement to ensure supplier quality, specification compliance, and process control. Train and coach site teams on food safety culture, quality standards, and best practices. Analyze quality data, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify trends and mitigate risks. Ensure alignment with Smiths Detection's focus on safety, security, innovation, and global compliance. Support new product introductions and process changes with risk assessments and validation. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate detection and screening technologies into quality and safety controls.
