Responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local, state, and federal regulatory safety, industrial hygiene and environmental requirements. Develops and implements safety and industrial hygiene solutions to provide a safe workplace for all employees. Provides training and consultation for employees and managers in developing and implementing safety, industrial hygiene and environmental programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action efforts for safety, environmental, and near-miss events
• Coordinate and conduct safety training programs, emergency drills, and employee awareness initiatives
• Manage environmental compliance activities including hazardous waste, air permits, water systems, and DOT hazmat requirements
• Perform facility audits and inspections to identify risks and drive continuous improvement across the plant

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 2-3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience conducting safety training, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and federal, state, and local EHS regulations

PREFERRED

• Experience supporting industrial hygiene initiatives and exposure monitoring programs
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or related credentials
• Familiarity with

RCRA, DOT

hazardous materials transportation, and confined space/fall protection programs

• Experience leading safety audits, emergency response planning, or environmental reporting activities
• Background working in a manufacturing environment with multiple shifts and complex operations
