Job Posting External Responsibilities Manage Environmental and Safety for the Greencastle manufacturing facility. Oversee the development and implementation of programs to comply with all federal, state and local regulations and company policies. Monitor environmental and safety regulations and manage safety training requirements as needed for all employees. Confer with and act as a resource to all Greencastle facility questions and problems relating to environmental, safety and industrial hygiene issues. Assist and collaborate with other departments such as, manufacturing, engineering, legal and executive management on developing and recommending safety, environmental and industrial hygiene programs. Direct Greencastle's environmental sustainability and recycling programs. Oversee writing, renewing and updating environmental permits related to Air, Wastewater and Storm water. Oversee/produce monthly and year-end Environmental reports, OSHA logs and sign documents, certify accuracy of audits, reports and laboratory analysis. Qualifications This position requires a four-year college degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, or equivalent, including strong chemistry background or adequate job experience in environmental and safety (or equivalent experience) Ten years of prior experience in manufacturing safety and/or environmental relating to OSHA regulations, injury prevention, air emissions, wastewater treatment and hazardous waste disposal are necessary for this position. In addition, excellent communication and presentation skills are required with at least five years of management experience, above average PC skills and knowledge of technology are required.
