Overview Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, where you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive safety and environmental programs across manufacturing operations. This pivotal role ensures compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, promotes a culture of safety, and safeguards employee health and well-being. You will serve as a subject matter expert in occupational health, hazardous materials management, and regulatory standards, driving continuous improvement in safety performance and environmental stewardship. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance. Lead workplace safety initiatives by designing training programs on OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, emergency response procedures, and first aid protocols such as CPR. Conduct thorough incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence. Monitor adherence to hazardous materials regulations, environmental health standards, and workplace safety policies through regular audits and inspections. Manage workers' compensation processes by ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with workers' compensation law to support injured employees effectively. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, environmental compliance status, incident investigations, and audit findings for management review. Provide expert guidance on regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments to ensure operational practices meet EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and other relevant agencies' requirements. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and environmental management systems. Demonstrated expertise in occupational health, environmental health, hazardous materials regulations, and safety regulations. Knowledge of environmental regulatory compliance standards including EPA guidelines and OSHA safety protocols. Certifications such as First Aid (including CPR), OSHA 30-hour or 500-hour training preferred; additional certifications in environmental management or hazard communication are advantageous. Familiarity with workers' compensation law processes along with report writing skills for incident documentation and root cause analysis reports. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and develop effective corrective action plans. Excellent communication skills to train staff effectively on safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
