Position Overview DSJ global is partnered with a leading food and beverage manufacturing organization who is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead and execute facility-wide environmental, health, and safety programs. This individual will be responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures that align with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments; identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions. Serve as the site expert for environmental compliance, workplace safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and hazardous materials management. Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and follow-up activities. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership teams. Monitor and analyze EHS metrics and key performance indicators to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. Maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and ensure regular testing and training. Partner closely with operations, engineering, human resources, and leadership teams to strengthen the site's safety culture. Support sustainability initiatives and environmental reporting requirements. Lead and mentor EHS personnel and provide guidance to site leadership on best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. 8+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing EHS programs and initiatives. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and related regulatory requirements. Proven ability to influence change, build partnerships, and promote a culture of safety. Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent are highly preferred.
