Construction Safety Field Manager DeSoto, KS (Onsite) Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Field Manager for safety oversight at a large, high-profile construction site in DeSoto, KS. This is a full-time, long-term position — not a short-term project role. The Construction Safety Field Manager will serve as the onsite field safety manager, ensuring OSHA compliance, overseeing contractor safety programs, leading incident investigations, and driving a proactive, zero-incident safety culture. Key Responsibilities Administer site-wide construction safety programs Oversee contractor safety compliance and high-risk activities Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking Perform regular site inspections and safety audits Review Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and permit-to-work processes Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators Maintain authority to stop work for imminent hazards Qualifications 10+ years of construction safety management experience Direct responsibility for contractor safety oversight
OSHA 510
certification (required) Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards Experience leading incident investigations and CAPA management Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work onsite full-time in DeSoto, KS Preferred Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
OSHA 500
CSP, CHST, CIH, or similar certifications Experience in complex or regulated construction environments Work Environment Full-time onsite presence required. Active construction site environment with standard construction hazards.

$115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
