The Construction Safety Manager will provide daily field safety oversight for craft personnel, subcontractors, and supervision while ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements and site-specific safety standards. Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification 1-3 Years of Construction Safety Experience Experience Supporting Roofing, Scaffolding, and Aerial Lift Activities Experience Working on Large Commercial or Industrial Construction Sites Strong Knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards Ability to Maintain a Highly Visible Field Presence Preferred Qualifications Industrial Manufacturing Experience Roofing Safety Experience Scaffold User or Competent Person Training Industrial Shutdown or Maintenance Project Experience First Aid/CPR Certification CHST, ASP, CSP, or Other BCSP Credential What You'll Be Doing Provide daily field safety oversight for roofing, scaffolding, insulation, and coating activities Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments Monitor elevated work, scaffold usage, aerial lift operations, and material handling activities Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards Roofing Safety Requirements Scaffold SafetyAccess Systems Aerial LiftsMEWPs Fall ProtectionElevated Work Industrial Coatings Operations Insulation Installation Activities Material Handling Operations Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Incident InvestigationCorrective Actions Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk AssessmentMitigation Industrial Site Safety Requirements What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused safety professional with experience supporting roofing, scaffolding, and industrial construction activities.
