Principal Responsibilities:

Attend and assist internal/external vessel compliance activities such as Audits, Surveys, and Coast Guard inspections. Participate in drafting Risk Assessments for various vessel operations. Maintain and analyze the database of audits, inspections, and expiration dates; flag upcoming deadlines proactively. Organize and maintain safety records; training files, audits, corrective actions, manuals, and reports. Conduct SMS Audits to determine gaps between Policy and Procedures. Help draft content for safety newsletters and safety alerts, for review before distribution. Ability to travel and board vessels in remote areas on the river system. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Currently seeking a Bachelor's degree in Safety, or related field. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Dependable, punctual, and professional team player. Why Join Us?
