Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Supervisor to lead our safety initiatives across manufacturing operations. In this vital role, you will oversee compliance with environmental and occupational health regulations, implement safety protocols, and foster a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will ensure that all workplace activities adhere to regulatory standards, safeguarding employee well-being and environmental integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices and promote a secure, compliant work environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies aligned with local, national, and industry-specific regulations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and hazardous materials regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, root cause analyses, and incident investigations to identify risks and develop corrective actions. Lead safety training sessions on topics including first aid, CPR, OSHA standards, environmental management systems, hazardous materials handling, and workplace safety protocols. Ensure compliance with environmental health standards and manage environmental regulatory reporting requirements. Oversee the proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental management systems and legal standards. Maintain accurate documentation of safety inspections, incident reports, training records, and compliance audits. Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare staff for potential incidents. Skills Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, environmental compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, and workers' compensation law. Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on workplace safety and occupational health. Excellent report writing skills coupled with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Certified in first aid, CPR, and able to demonstrate emergency response capabilities. Familiarity with environmental management systems (EMS) and environmental regulatory compliance processes. Ability to train employees on safety procedures and regulatory requirements through engaging development programs. Strong analytical skills for conducting hazard assessments and implementing corrective measures efficiently.
