Reliable Production Services is seeking an experienced Safety Director to lead and manage the company's health, safety and environmental (HSE) program across shop and field operations. This position owns the implementation of company safety policies and procedures, drives training and regulatory compliance, manages incident investigation and case management, and serves as the company's primary safety contact for customers and third-party prequalification platforms. The Safety Director is a visible, field-facing leadership role. Success in this position depends on regular presence at the shop and on rig locations, strong working relationships with both field crews and customer safety representatives, and the credibility that comes from consistently setting the safe example for others to follow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety Program Leadership and Compliance Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures for Reliable Production Services to ensure compliance. Lay out a yearly vision for safety and review it periodically to ensure progress. Above all, be a good example — always being the safe model for others to follow. Field and Shop Engagement Coordinate and carry out shop and field health, safety and environmental meetings. Coordinate onsite weekly rig visits to foster the relationship between office and field personnel. Utilize the e-mail and text message system to share safety information with field personnel. Establish good working relations with customer safety representatives. Training and Recordkeeping Develop a safety training matrix for all employees. Partner with the Administrative Assistant to schedule training classes through SafetyPro Resources, Alliance Safety Council, Gulf Coast Safety Council and ISTC Training Council, and keep all records on file. Incident Management and Case Handling Administer Root Cause Analysis investigations for all incidents. Accompany injured employees for medical treatment and track their progress until release to work. Employee Screening, Hiring and Orientation Partner with the Administrative Assistant to coordinate pre-employment, post-accident, random, reasonable suspicion, pre-job access and wall-to-wall drug testing. Partner with the Administrative Assistant to schedule background testing. Interview potential new employees and administer the orientation process . Contractor Prequalification Partner with the Administrative Assistant and SafetyPro Resources personnel to manage ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce and NCMS. Operational Support Provide relief for the Operations Manager while he is away from the office on field visits, sickness, personal days, vacations and weekends.
Pay:
$94,500.00 - $115,107.00 per year
