Safety Manager | Monroe, Louisiana

Job Description

A leading American contractor is seeking a Safety Manager to support operations in Monroe, LA on a major multi-million dollar data center project. This position will play a key role in driving safety performance, partnering with field leadership, and ensuring consistent implementation of company Based in the Monroe, LA the role offers the opportunity to work closely with operational teams, influence business-wide safety initiatives, and contribute to the continued growth of a well-established organization known for its strong culture and commitment to employee development. What's on Offer Competitive salary of $120,000 Company vehicle allowance $570/Month Comprehensive healthcare and benefits package 401(k) matching Paid time off Clear progression opportunities within a growing business Supportive and collaborative working environment Exposure to large-scale infrastructure and utility projects Key Responsibilities Provide regional leadership and oversight for health and safety programmes Support project teams in achieving compliance with company and regulatory requirements Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments across multiple locations Review incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions Develop strong relationships with field personnel and operational leaders Monitor safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to employees at all levels Champion a positive safety culture throughout the organisation What We're Looking For Associates or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related discipline preferred Minimum of 5 years' EHS experience within construction environments Previous experience supporting data center projects is highly desirable ASP, CSP, or similar professional certifications preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the business This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safety professional looking to join a company that values its people, promotes from within, and provides a long-term platform for career growth.
