This position is available for immediate start and is expected to last 6-12 months. The ideal candidate will promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily safety operations on the project site. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, project safety requirements, and company policies. Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and identify corrective actions when necessary. Develop and implement proactive risk management strategies to prevent incidents and injuries. Maintain communication and coordination with project management, subcontractor supervisors, and other onsite safety personnel. Promote a continuous proactive approach to workplace safety. Daily Duties Onboard new employees and subcontractor personnel. Ensure all workers attend required project orientations. Assist with worker registration and site access requirements. Manage and maintain worker training and safety documentation. Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) with new workers and complete sign-in processes. Conduct and document daily safety huddles and stretch/flex programs. Submit required daily safety reports and weekly Toolbox Talks (TBTs). Monitor work activities and ensure crews remain compliant with OSHA and project-specific safety standards. Investigate and document safety concerns, near misses, and incidents as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a Construction Safety Manager, Site Safety Manager, or similar safety leadership role. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices. Experience conducting safety inspections, orientations, and training. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and maintain a visible presence in the field. OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
