Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical contractors and construction professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to identify an experienced Electrical Safety Manager in Baltimore, Maryland. This position is designed for a safety professional who understands the construction industry and can operate effectively both in the field and from an administrative standpoint. The Safety Manager will oversee site-level safety leadership, remain actively involved with field operations, and help strengthen the company's overall safety program as the department continues to grow.

Electrical Safety Manager Compensation & Benefits:

Total compensation for the Electrical Safety Manager is approximately $95,000 - $145,000 per year.

Electrical Safety Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide leadership to the Site Safety Manager
• Remain actively involved in day-to-day safety operations across active construction projects
• Split time approximately 50% in the office and 50% in the field
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections, safety observations, and compliance checks
• Identify hazards, safety concerns, and areas requiring corrective action
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, field employees, and safety personnel to maintain strong jobsite safety standards
• Support and lead ongoing safety initiatives throughout the organization
• Develop, implement, manage, and continuously improve company safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Assist with building and strengthening the safety department as the organization continues to grow
• Lead employee safety orientations, training programs, and ongoing safety education
• Review work activities and jobsite practices to ensure established safety procedures are being followed
• Support hazard assessments, pre-task planning, and job hazard analysis activities
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and develop corrective-action recommendations
• Maintain accurate safety records, training documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records
• Utilize safety management systems and technology for reporting, documentation, tracking, and program implementation
• Monitor safety performance trends and recommend improvements
• Support compliance with OSHA standards and other applicable construction safety requirements
• Communicate safety expectations clearly across both field and office teams
• Work effectively within both union and non-union environments

Electrical Safety Manager Qualifications:

Experience Required:

5+ years of relevant safety experience within the construction industry

• Strong understanding of construction operations and the ability to operate effectively in the field
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred
• Candidates from other self-performing construction environments may also be considered
• Previous experience implementing, managing, or improving safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections, safety audits, compliance reviews, and employee training
• Previous experience supervising or supporting site-level safety personnel preferred
• OSHA 30 certification required

• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety practices
• Strong computer skills for reporting, documentation, tracking, and safety program implementation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety-related software
• Ability to communicate effectively with field employees, project leadership, and company management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to identify safety concerns and develop practical solutions
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel to active project sites as needed
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal education or degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
• Safety-related certifications such as CHST, CSP, or similar credentials
• Experience within the electrical contracting industry
• Knowledge of electrical construction hazards and

NFPA 70E

• Experience working in both union and non-union construction environments
• Experience helping develop or expand a construction safety department About the
