Job Description We are seeking a qualified Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) / Quality Control Representative (QCR) to support a USACE project at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The SSHO/QC will lead project safety and quality compliance, implementing the USACE quality control process, and provide full-time onsite coverage throughout the active construction phase. Skills and Requirements Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience on similar construction projects
• Demonstrated federal/USACE construction safety experience
• Working knowledge of

EM 385-1-1

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
• Current First Aid/CPR
• USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM) certification
• Experience implementing the USACE three-phase quality control process: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up
• Experience preparing and reviewing AHAs
• Experience conducting safety inspections and maintaining project safety documentation
• Experience maintaining QC reports, inspection records, deficiency tracking, testing documentation, and corrective actions
• Healthcare or occupied medical facility construction experience strongly preferred
• Must be dedicated full-time to this project while onsite construction is ongoing
