Job Description
Safety Professional
Bridge Safety LeaderWe are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to travel on heavy, complex civil construction projects such as bridges, railway, and/or marine work.
The safety position will manage the "on-site" safety requirements including, planning, setting objectives, organizing, directing, and controlling the program. Implement all safety regulations, maintain a safe worksite for all crafts.

The safety position will manage the "on-site" safety requirements including, planning, setting objectives, organizing, directing, and controlling the program. Implement all safety regulations, maintain a safe worksite for all crafts.
Bridge Safety Leader Responsibilities:
- Assist with executing our safety strategy and zero-accident culture for the assigned business unit.
- Ensure job site safety including training, documentation, audits, and reporting.
- Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company policies/procedures.
- Assist in safety efforts by researching, planning, developing, and implementing programs and procedures necessary to meet compliance and safety needs.
- Implement an effective safety program for each project within the territory assigned.
- Lead safety training for individuals and crews as needed.
- Maintain a regular site visit to all projects within the territory assigned.
Bridge Safety Leader Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree focused on Occupational Safety Health and Fire Science
- At least 5 years of experience in bridge construction utilizing concrete or steel, preferred.
- Environmental compliance experience
- Previous experience with OSHA rules and regulations
- Experience with bridge structures composed of a plate girder, concrete girder, and/or steel truss; founded on driven piling, drilled shafts, or spread footings is preferred.
