Develop within the company through mentorship and training opportunities from the day you are hired and enjoy the sense of pride you get from being part of a team completing large scale projects across the country Summary of Position The Seasonal Site Safety Representative for Roofing is responsible for ensuring professional health, safety and environmental practices at project sites. The position will provide an on-the-roof presence to work alongside project personnel to ensure successful implementation and compliance with Niles EHS management system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- On-site safety presence to oversee project safety throughout the project life cycle.
- Technical support for Project Managers and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with project safety plans.
- On site safety responsibilities.
- Delivery of the morning daily safety engagement and end of day safety debrief.
- Daily safety audit to ensure safety compliance.
- Implement immediate corrective actions when deficiencies are found.
- Inspect flag lines and fall rescue equipment daily start of each day.
- Pre-start inspection generators /compressors and other fixed equipment
- Equipment pre-start documentation
- Spotter duties
- Hazardous chemical storage / inspections. Label unmarked containers etc.
- Conduct hazard assessments, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Conduct safety orientations for new employees and subcontractors. Ensure they are signed onto project documentation.
- Provides on-site safety training for roofing employees.
- Reports accidents & injuries and assists with investigations.
- Build meaningful and lasting relationships with customers, project managers and project teams. Required Experience
- Opportunity for experience and growth.
- Minimum two years Commercial/Industrial Construction experience.
- Experience in automotive or commercial roofing experience will be looked upon favorably. Qualifications

- Minimum OSHA 30.
